Erica’s favorite real estate story

“My best friend and her husband came back from traveling the world in early 2019 and a few months later decided to start their home search. I was obviously super happy about that because that meant they weren't leaving me again lol

After seeing a handful of homes that weren't a good fit, we found out about a home that was about to hit the market and knew it was going to be "the one". On the day of our showing, standing in the driveway before we walked in, she surprised me with a positive pregnancy test. I screamed embarrassingly loud and was smiling ear to ear in between the uncontrollable happy tears.

Fast forward to now -- I've loved being a part of and watching the transformation of this house becoming their home as a family of 3. It has a bunch of plants, handmade indoor and outdoor dining tables, a full blown vegetable garden, and two tiny + perfect toddler feet running through the halls”

MaryAnne’s Favorite Real Estate Story

My husband and I conjured up all of the things we would love in a dream home and when we couldn't find it, we made it!

We bought our river home 2 years ago and spent a good year making it everything our family needed + more. Some of our favorites about it are the treehouse for our children, the magnolia we planted out front, the great room we use for holidays and gatherings with friends, cul-de-sac that makes our children feel safe on their bikes, and the inspiring view of the downtown skyline + bridges that both motivate and relax us in the mornings + evenings.

My favorite real estate experience is when I get to help my close friends and family with their real estate goals. It was such an honor to help my friend sell his townhome. He was looking for a new place to call home in the Murray Hill area as well. We found a perfect home for him with a nice backyard space for his 3 adorable cats.  He loves the fact that he can walk and ride his bike to restaurants and shops in Murray Hill and Riverside. I'm so happy for him, and I am thankful that he trusted me to help him find the perfect space for him + his fur baby’s!

Jamily’s Favorite Real Estate Story

My mother is a lady of many virtues. She's an entrepreneur, a go-getter, a dreamer, an extremely successful business owner, and incredibly smart. When she asked me to help her buy a fixer-upper home I was so excited! Not only was it the first home she had purchased in over 19 years but it wasn't even in Jacksonville! I was able to help her win in multiple offers on a foreclosure blocks from Siesta Key Beach in the Gulf of Mexico. It was such a special time for us both. I was stretched as a REALTOR® in more ways than one while juggling an important transaction 300 miles away. But more importantly I watched my mom fall in love with a new property with endless possibilities for her future! She basically gutted the place and the renovation is almost complete. She gets a fresh start in a place she designed on her own and I couldn't be more proud of her. Helping her buy this home was by far my favorite transaction but not just because it was so close to home (haha) but because I witnessed what I think every REALTOR® strives to see in their customers: complete joy, excitement and confidence. My mom and I were both immensely blessed by the house on Siesta Drive.

Emily’s Favorite Real Estate Story

“I was lucky enough to convince some of my closest friends to move from Avondale to Springfield (just a block away from me!) AND my parents moved from Tennessee to their Avondale home.  Both homes are gorgeous and the people that own them are so special to me.  There is nothing better than having friends and family close by & to have them trust you with their real estate investments!“
